bx_shredspread by Brainworx is a purpose-built stereo enhancement plug-in for modern guitar production. Optimized for double-tracked rhythms and guitar buses, it widens guitar stacks, tightens the image, and preserves mono compatibility so your parts stay powerful on any system. Leveraging Brainworx’s mid/side expertise, it adds width and focus without the phase smear or comb filtering common to conventional wideners. With a few intuitive controls, you can make dense riffs sit wider and clearer in the mix while keeping a solid, punchy center. Though tailored for distorted guitars, it also works well on leads, layered synths, and backing vocals whenever you need a bigger stage that remains coherent in mono.
